More pics of Sunday

This Blogger software drives me nuts.... it decided that no more pics to my previous post. So I started a new one:

Sunday afternoon we visited the famous Devils Tower. Please don't expect me to give explanation how it was born...See for yourself in Google for instance.
Devil's Tower ,too.

Our motel Bear Lodge in Sundance WY.

And now it is past midnight Wed in Texas. I must hit the sack now. Until next time...

Sunday Aug. 20. Red Lodge MT - Sundance WY, 630 km

First of all I apologize for my late updates. The problem is that I have two sites to keep updated: One in Finnish and this one in English. After a 10 - 12 hour ride + unpacking the bike + getting cleaned up + getting some supper + uploading three cameras and sorting out the pics the evening gets very short. Especially now that we entered Texas and to our surprise lost one hour! Forgot that we are travelling East through time zones.
But I try to update this site to my best ability and provided that the motels have internet connection.
As for some questions regarding our bikes and their "specialities" everything is pretty much covered on the LT-forum. So please use the search function of that great site and you should be able to find answers whether you are interested in our fake exhaust pipes, the video cam systems or whatever...
And after we are done with this tour I will make a short summary which will include the statistics of the trip as well as complete Garmin maps of our route. At this moment we just have to concentrate on the riding as it is pretty tough in this + 35 - 36 C weather and we do not ride in T-shirts and shorts!!

Packing the bikes in motel parking lot in Red Lodge MT.

As we started from Red Lodge, we figured that we still have enough gas as we both got excellent mileage through Yellowstone and even climbing the mountains to Red Lodge.

Pretty soon we realized that none of the little tiny villages had a gas station. Finally when Ari's fuel gauge was totally empty we found this lonely pump station (in Deaver WY) that worked with our Visa.

On the way from Red Lodge, still some fantastic sceneries.

And we managed to get the camera timer working as well...
